Created in 1998 by Interplay Entertainment, this is the 2nd game of the Fallout series. This game is also turn based, which means you can move any way you want to, but in battle, you have to use action points to do things, and if you don’t have enough action points, you have to end your turn. If you survive what the enemy does, you get your action points back.  Even though it looks and feels similar to the original Fallout, it has a different story, but their stories are connected in a way. In fallout 2, the main character, known as the Chosen One, is related to the original character from Fallout, but Fallout 2 takes place 80 years after, in 2241, which is also 164 years after the Great War which basically destroyed the whole world. In this game, your town/vault named Arroyo needs water and its inhabitants are starving, so they want the Chosen One to find a GECK (Garden of Eden Creation Kit), which is a package that can somehow make them a thriving area right next to the town/vault, even though the apocalypse happened. You only leave with cash, a spear, a PIP-Boy, and a little bit of water. A PIP-Boy is a big watch-like thing that goes on your arm, and it can tell you time, if your body or body parts are in good condition, where you are, if you’re starving or dehydrated, and your inventory. Throughout most of the game, you have to fight the Enclave and save your people from the FEV. The Enclave, which is a group of descendants of the United States government and Army, strikes fear in the hearts of Americans by using military technology to show their dominance, such as power armor, which is a big suit of armor that can withstand almost anything. The Enclave also uses vertibirds (helicopters), tanks, miniguns, and plasma guns. The F.E.V. (Forced Evolutionary Virus) is what turns people into super mutants. The main leaders of the Enclave take your people and are planning to turn them into a super mutant army, so you have to destroy the Enclave, and their main base is an oil rig in the Pacific Ocean. Fallout 2 was rated very high in reviews, and is known to many as one of the best games of all time, even in recent reviews.
